Release history¶
Published tags are source archives, not playable packages
The independently verified latest published GitHub tag is v0.5.95. It snapshots experimental SOURCE-ONLY Unreal circuit surface work from unmerged draft PR #313; it is NOT a Windows game, executable or installer.
Current source release: v0.5.95 freezes immutable source commit 45e62e2f9009741bf947019105708abe64f89c3f with eight physically bounded 3D road-edge paint segments, 48 braking-zone rubber details, an original Unreal Editor PBR material authoring script and SHA256-pinned optional material provenance checks for future Win64 candidates. The old Win32 2D cartoon-like preview is not the Unreal game and is not included. The public release contains zero executable assets, does not merge PR #313 and does not demonstrate a cooked Unreal map/material, genuine car 3D visuals, compiled Windows 3D EXE or gameplay QA. v0.5.94 remains the previous immutable source milestone.
Pinned-source evidence: The v0.5.95 publication workflow passed 171 CTests per Windows, Ubuntu and macOS platform; 621 Python source tests; PowerShell build/safety fixtures and docs. This is not an actual licensed UE 5.8 Editor/UHT or rendered/material/runtime game test.
Next development priority: compile the real UE 5.8 Editor/Game targets, cook the original circuit and qualify an installed Windows candidate. Android devices remain an independent gate. Player QA guide.
Published source previews¶

For development milestones v0.5.9–v0.5.13 and v0.5.23–v0.5.29 that did not receive separate tags, see the engineering status log. The presence of source milestones does not imply that a corresponding tag or executable was published.
Stable release criterion¶
A playable or stable build is justified only after genuine Unreal compilation, an authentic cookable map, package integrity checks and installed game QA with evidence that corresponds to the exact built candidate. See build pipeline.
